For second consecutive year, Bay Town Trolley offers student summer pass

(Panama City, Fla.) - Bay Town Trolley’s student summer pass can now be purchased for Bay County Students ages, 12 – 18. The pass, which cost just $30, is valid for unlimited rides, June 1 thorough September 1, 2009.

“This is a very economical and convenient option for students who are looking to get out of the house and explore this summer,” said Beth Coulliette, the trolley’s executive director. “It’s especially ideal for those students whose parents work during the day.”

With gas prices rising again, this pass is about equivalent to or cheaper than the average tank of gas. Students using the pass can visit area attractions near Bay Town Trolley stops, such as the Panama City Library, the beach, Panama City Mall, Pier Park, Gulf World, and even Shipwreck Island.

“Not only is the pass a good option for students to ‘Get Up and Go’ to leisure activities,” said Lee Bragg. “It’s also a good buy for those students who will be working on the beach, at the mall or elsewhere this summer.”

To purchase a student summer pass call the trolley office at 769-0557 or visit Twitter.com/BayTownTrolley and BayTownTrolley.org/Facebook to see how you can win one.
