(Panama City, FL) March Madness has hit Bay Town Trolley. Record books will be rewritten. Bay Town Trolley has had the highest monthly ridership numbers ever!
This March, 20,710 riders boarded the trolley. That's almost 1,000 riders every operational day! In comparison, last year the trolley has had a 31% increase in March ridership. It seems that this transportation system just can't stop setting records.
"We're proud of our system and its growth. This is an exciting time for everyone at Bay Town Trolley," said Beth Coulliette, director of Bay Town Trolley.
With the trolleys 10th anniversary year in full swing, growth and the Bay Town Trolley are synonymous. "It's become obvious that this community has truly embraced the trolley, " said Parker City Mayor and Chairwoman of the Transportation Planning Organization, Brenda Hendricks, "These numbers are a testament to the valuable service Bay Town Trolley provides."
