BAY TOWN TROLLEY OFF TO A STRONG START IN 2005!

(Panama City, FL) Following a record-breaking year in 2004, the fleet of Bay Town Trolleys are off and sailing strong in 2005 with 13,593 riders as of January 31, 2005.
This year Bay Town Trolley celebrates its 10th anniversary with exciting news Ð it has broken records again! In 2004 Bay Town Trolley had its highest ridership numbers ever with 177,098 riders, a 35% increase from 2003.
"The incredible ridership numbers in 2004 and the strong start we see in January 2005 are clear indications that the Trolley serves an important role in our community," said Parker City Mayor and Chairwoman of the Transportation
Planning Organization, Brenda Hendricks. "Our communities are going through some very dynamic growth and it's good to know we have a transportation system in place ready to grow with us."
Bay Town Trolley is celebrating 10 years as an award-winning transit system that serves Bay County, Monday through Friday, with hundreds of stops daily.
